About Maya
I have just started a new path in my life. Stepping down from my long term management role in retail and a 7 year retail career to follow my dreams of working in the animal care industry.
I currently work casually with the pet store chain Best Friends and the underwear brand Bonds.
I am a lover of all fur babies and have owned and cared for animals my whole life.
My experience is mostly with cats and dogs, as I have owned both and looked after friends and families as well.
I volunteered with the RSPCA in the Cattery from 2019-202, I completed a Cert 2 in Animal studies with Melbourne Polytechnic in 2020 as a pathway into Veterinary Nursing (which I will commencing this year (2021).
I am confident, comfortable and my happiest around animals and I know it would bring me and your pet joy to spend some time together....
