About Darren

Lauren and I have grown up with animals. We've had dogs, cats, birds, fish, chickens, and even a goat!

We love relaxing around the house as much as going for walks, runs, and out to the markets. Let us know their likes and dislikes and your pet will have an absolute ball with us.

We are compassionate and loving and will give your pet every bit of love that you would. We also value good training and discipline so can uphold your own personal standards.

We have a baby and 3-year-old who is absolutely brilliant with animals giving them the respect and kindness you would expect from having grown up with two dogs. She never chases or startles pets, or grabs at them (and isn't a bit afraid of the biggest boisterous doggo!).

Your pet can sleep indoors in our air conditioned home, or outdoors on a comfy day bed if they wish, and use the dog door to come and go freely out into our small fully sealed backyard where they can access grass, walk around, and relax on an outside daybed.

A home is always relaxed and calm. There is almost always someone home with my wife on maternity leave and me often working from home.

You can expect daily photos and updates of your pet to make you feel relaxed no matter where you are. Any medical needs will be attended to promptly and competently.

If your dog (or chicken) is the walking type, they're in luck! They can be walked along streets or along a wonderful nature corridor complete with a meandering creek. My previous dogs were off-lead runners, so if yours is good enough off the leash then I am happy to off-lead walk or run them (the whole trail is away from traffic and usually absent of people).

I've also kept marine and tropical fish having worked in an aquarium servicing business for five years so am willing to assist with your tanks.
