About Clarinda

My name is Clarinda and I have loved all kinds of animals since I was a child, animals are my calling. I have always owned a variety of pets and my dream was to own an Animal Rescue. I achieved this while I lived in Bundaberg on a property with my husband and 2 children and housed up to 60 rescued animals at a time! Yes, it was organised kaos and I loved every minute of it. I have experience with dogs, ducks, geese, turkey, chickens, guinea pig, sheep, pigs, and goats. Most of these animals came with health problems from abuse, malnurishment or needing medication and lots of love to recover. Each and every animal was rehomed to live their lives as they deserved, in loving homes.

I moved back to the Gold Coast last year and have been walking dogs and looking after pets part-time . I have now cleared my workload to allow me to focus on this full-time and have recently joined MadPaws to increase my clients and to meet new pets (and their owners!).

Pet sitting in your home overnight will always include playing and cuddles with your pet, cleaning up after them, watering plants and any other chores (for an additional charge) agreed upon needed to maintain your home while I'm staying. You can be assured your home will be well cared for and kept secure at all times. There will only be minimal necessary times when your pet will be left alone, these times will always be communicated to you prior to your booking.

Happy to visit your pets during the day for 30min bookings while you are at work or away from home. While I'm there I can exercise, feed, clean up after your pet or just sit on the couch and cuddle! This service is available for domestic pets (dogs & cats) or most types of animals - just check with me before booking.
