ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Ebonee, I am 30 years old and have a huge passion for caring for animals (particularly dogs).
I have been a qualified Veterinary Nurse now for 8 years specialising in pet emergency. Having worked in this industry has made me realise even more so how important pets are in our lives and how much we consider them family. Because of this I want to be there for your precious family member when you are unavailable to care for them, are on holiday or just need extra support. I am a very thoughtful, compassionate, patient, responsible and caring person and through my vast experience in the pet industry, I now have greater knowledge and understanding of the wants and requirements of your pets needs.

I currently live on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula with my husband Dylan and our very friendly dog Izzy, a lovely British bulldog. Dylan is just as much of an animal lover as I am, and you will also find him helping out with any pet hosting at home, dog walks and visits from time to time depending on my work schedule. I currently work in a 24/7 Animal Emergency Centre as an ECC nurse and therefore I do rotating shifts. I will typically only work 2 night shifts a week but I will let you know my availability for the week you are looking at booking. I have done pet sitting and dog walking for many years, and also on the side work as pet wedding assistant!

We are fully vaccinated for covid-19 and can provide a certificate on request.

⭐️ Pet hosting – In our home

We offer pet hosting in our home and all dogs that are friendly with other dogs and house trained are welcome. We have a medium sized fully fenced rear yard. Dog’s are welcome inside and out and generally have free roam of the house when we are home if they are toilet trained and well behaved. Dog’s will sleep indoors at night (your preference where they sleep either in a crate, in the lounge or wherever they're happy), and will include plenty of cuddles, attention, playtime and couch time!
Walks are included in the pet hosting fee, as per your request (generally 1x 30-60 minute walk daily). We frequently walk along the Rosebud foreshore, and we also have many close by dog friendly enclosed parks and beaches, or just simply around the neighbourhood and the football oval also only a short 5 min walk away.

Please note that this is a very limited service as we only take 1-2 dogs at a time. It is therefore a very personalised experience, with 1-on-1 attention as we are almost always home and we do not have multiple dogs staying at any one time, as well as the reassurance of being looked after by an experienced emergency vet nurse :)

⭐️ Home visits – at your home

I attend to your pets in the comfort of their own home. Each visit is up to 30 minutes. It can include play time with your pet, feeding, brushing, cuddles, pats, medicating (oral, topical or injectable), poo patrol and any other special requests. I also can take care of any general household tasks such as watering gardens, bringing in mail, and putting out/bringing in garbage bins etc. Your pets visit can be completely personalised to their needs, just let me know what they will require.
Walks are not included but are available for an additional fee and will receive 50% off walk fees when booked with a home visit. Travel fees are already included in the service fee.
Please note: Fees are per visit – if you require more than one visit per day please message me at the time of booking and I will make the necessary amendments to the fee total.

⭐️ Dog walking

I come to you; I offer this service as a once-off or on an as needs basis. I don't offer set repeat weekly bookings but if you need you dog walked weekly and can be flexible with which day then this is fine for weekly bookings. I will either walk your dog for approximately 30 minutes around your neighbourhood, a beach that is close by or any other preference for your pooch in your local area, or I can take them to the dog park for 1 hour. Treats will be provided for basic recall/positive reinforcement training on walks, so if your dog has any allergies or they can only be fed a certain treat then please let me know and please leave their own treats out for the walk.

30 min walk- $30
60 min walk on lead or at dog friendly park/beach- $50

* Please specify at time of enquiry if you would like a 30 minute or 60 minute walking session so I can amend the booking if needed*

⚠️IMPORTANT INFORMATION⚠️

- All pets must be supplied with their own food for the duration of their stay.
- Dogs must have their own lead/collar/harness.
- We supply clean bowls (for hosting service) for each meal and a variety of toys for play however you can byo if you prefer.
- Boarding fees are based on a 24hr stay, (E.g., 9am drop off/9am pickup = 1 night). Late pickup is available for an additional fee and must be added at the time of booking.
- I can Pick up and drop off for an additional fee and this must be added at the time of booking and must be within the 20km travel radius from my base, otherwise any further than this will be charged an additional fee discussed with you at the time.
- All public holiday bookings will incur an additional $10 public holiday fee per service.
