I am an aspiring scientist and amidst my investigations, love to spend time with animals and beautiful landscapes. It helps make memories, turns out into an adventure and I learn heaps more by meeting new people and their pets. Some lessons in life are priceless!
Pet sitting is an experience that moulds a person to become a better human being. I miss the company of animals around and so I decided to become a sitter while I weave scientific stories with my pen.
I think pets are personal emotional trainers. Scientific research shows that pets understand human voice tone, pitch and even words.
I really enjoy being with animals as I have grown up with 8 beautiful dogs, 2 cats, 5 bunnies and many hens and ducks. My special memory of my childhood is playing with a calf who thought it was a dog!
Coco, our golden retriever, who lives with my folks now is a champ at retrieving the morning papers. He is very well trained and always loves to feel important by doing odd jobs for a treat. I am quite good at grooming and love pampering the fur balls.
Importantly, my experience with pets have been fabulous and I am constantly learning life lessons from special moments spent with them.
While writing my thesis, I have been looking after pets in and around Sydney for the last 6 months and have made wonderful memories. I like to stay fit and so the pets in the house will surely get a good work out. I am an aspiring scientist so the occasional OCD kicks in and I keep the living space and outdoors quite spick and span. :)
I have had the experience of house sitting big farm houses, with more than one or two cats or dogs, horses, cows, birds, fish and ducks. I have been practising and undergoing training in yoga and meditation since I was 6 years old. I am now an accredited teacher and go to the Gold Coast annually to upgrade myself. I generally instruct young adults but have experience instructing seniors as well.
I believe truth is strength and have earned a reputation for being sincere and maintaining integrity. I love living life, so anything out of the norm is fascinating! I am versatile and outspoken and do like to relax with a glass of Aussie wine every now and then. 'Tis when I speculate the Bards of the bygone years.
