We are a family living in the outskirts of Ballarat ona beautiful grassed 5 acre property. Blessed with two little girls aged 4 and 10.
Our hearts are heavy as our much beloved doggie passed away last year aged 14. We love dogs but we just aren't ready to love again bring another dog into our lives its just too soon. So to ease our loss and love for dogs we are just loving the chance to look after your precious pets who may be in need for care and cuddles when you are away.
Each dog is different, so you'll need to explain us who he/she is so that we adapt. We want you to have a restful holiday and relax knowing that your dog is having a great time with us. Don't worry there will be lots of photo sms and regular updates sent your way.
Tell us about your experience with pets! How long have you been a pet lover?
We have had that one special dog in our lives for a very long 14 years. Everyone used to tell us that our dog had won "doggie lotto". Our family are animal lovers and regular pet sit for family, friends and neighbours. My girls love dogs and are always ready willing and waiting for their next animal experience.
Where will you walk my dog? Please describe.
Your dog will have the freedom to run around on our 5 acre grassed block. Fully landscaped with dam should they wish to have a splash and swim (obviously supervised)
What information would you like to know about a pet before sitting her or him?
We will need to know how you feed him and give us his food , explain his sleeping habits, how long and ofter he likes and needs to walk, how he/she usually interacts with other pets, do you have a preferred VET we should go in case of emergency ( we know one otherwise).
Are you comfortable administering medication?
Yes if the dog accept it.
Do you have access to reliable transportation in the case of an emergency?
We have a car.
What’s the estimated time that you will spend with my pet each day?
We would not leave him/her on its own however there will be times we will have to be away from your pets. Rest assured at this time they will be locked up in a fully secured, alarm monitored enclosure.
Where will my pet sleep?
Depends on his habits, we are fairly open about that. The last one we looked after during Christmas and NYE was loudly snoring and needed to sleep in our bedroom, that was fine! Naturally my girls would love night time snuggles with your fur baby in their beds :)
