Important highlights for potential Boarding: 

Much love provided with safe environment dog cannot escape from (as long as  lead and harness you supply are very secure)
5th floor apartment - no yard but fabulous big park directly across road and most dogs love to sit on the verandah and look out at the world
Early morning 30 - 40 minute proper walk provided free of charge.  Other wee toilet break walk/wanders are provided throughout the day
Body Corporate  requirements -  photo, desexing certificate, council registration, microchip  certificate, vaccination certificates - at least 1 week beforehand
If a stay longer than 2 nights we require a tester day and night (free of charge) to make sure your pet/s is/are happy
No other pets in the home - we take 1 or 2 dogs from same home  only

 I am a yoga teacher and pescaterian. I would love to visit and spend time with any beloved pet of yours. I love meeting new furry or feathered friends!

I work a couple of weekday evenings and one morning from home so have lots of week time plus the weekend to share cuddles with animals, feed them and walk them if necessary.  That would make both my careers doing the 2 things I love most in the world - yoga and interacting with animals.  

I travel very locally. I live in Scarborough so I service Scarborough, Newport, Kippa Ring and Redcliffe. I may travel to other local areas such as Woody Point, Clontarf and Margate, depending on the address (how far away it is).  I only visit places that have easy street parking or on site parking.  I do not take dogs to off leash parks or walk them off lead. 

I have owned either one or two dogs most of my life.   Our beautiful 15 year old Scottish Terrier called HoneyBea passed away In April 2025 and we are choosing not to get another dog at this stage, possibly ever.  She and all our previous dogs were the joys of my life and they were walked daily.  I love living with a dog and our apartment and my heart feel very empty without our girl.  

If visits are not appropriate we are happy to care for 1 or 2 dogs (from the same household only) in our apartment but there will be several things that we need.  Our body corporate requires a photo, council registration certificate, vaccination certificate, desexing certificate and microchip certificate.  We would need to get those things at least a week in advance to seek body corporate approval.  If the stay is longer than 2 nights we would also want to have your dog stay with us sometime before your holiday (free of charge) for one night and some part of the day on either side.  We would need to make sure your pet is able to settle in to our home and he/she is contented and happy and will not be overly barking or disturbing our neighbours. This time will also reassure you that your baby won't be fretting while you are gone.   

Your dog also must be house trained and not known for destructive behaviour. I would ask you to please be honest and realistic about your dog's behaviour and if they require a house with a yard please be aware that that is not what we offer here with our apartment.   Please also consider whether your dog is one that jumps up. We live on the 5th floor and do not want any dogs that are prone to jumping up.    

However what we do offer is a very very safe and loving environment where there is no chance your precious dog can escape.  

Your dog will have the run of the open plan kitchen, lounge, dining room and verandah of the apartment, where we spend most of our time.  However they will have no access to any of the bedrooms, including ours, at any time.  Your dog shall be sleeping in the lounge overnight and when you come over for the meet and greet you shall see that the lounge is not far from the main bedroom. 

We live across the road from a park and walking tracks so your dog would get a half hour walk included for each day of an overnight booking, plus small visits down to the park several times for toilet breaks.  If you wanted more than a half hour walk daily you would need to also book a walk on top of the stay. 

At the meet and greet you would come here and see the space your pet would be in to make sure you are happy with it.   If these conditions suit you and you want a loving and safe environment for your baby please reach out.  We take 1 or 2 dogs but they must be from the same home. 
 
Please also be aware that a daytime visit is up to approximately 10 hours long.  If you wish to drop your dog off at 7am and collect at 7pm (for example) please book in for an overnight stay as 12 hours is beyond a standard sitting day.

I have often walked our various neighbours' different dogs over the years we have been here.  They get lonely if their owner works full time so I have gotten permission to walk them or play with them. 

I was a wildlife carer for 6 years, taking care of orphaned or injured possums and getting them ready for re-release into the wild.    My husband and I also fostered dogs while they waited for their forever homes. 

I work predominantly from home so am available to visit any pets during the day and spend a bit of time with them for feeding, cuddling and walking.   I will walk the dogs locally - depending on their needs.  I only visit dogs with safe and effective fences. 

I do cat cuddles, pats and games while making sure they are safe and fed.  Some cats prefer that I merely make sure they are fed, watered and checked on. I am happy to obey their instructions if they tell me clearly to get out of their home 😬 I only sit for indoor cats.  

Basically I can do whatever may be required as I know that all pets are individual and will have different, and sometimes unusual, requirements.
