About Kate

Hi, my name is Kate! I've been petsitting full time for just over 3 years now and in that time I have looked after and fallen in love with so many gorgeous pets!

Thanks to a year's worth of veterinary studies (which I had to leave due to health reasons), I have plenty of knowledge regarding animal handling and care, as well as plenty of previous experience pet sitting for many different clients and from working as a kennelhand in a pet motel. I am confident with most animal species and have experience handling birds (including large parrots), rodents (rats, mice, guinea pigs), horses, dogs, cats and also livestock. I am happy to care for any animal regardless of size, breed, species or age... I don't think I've ever met an animal I haven't gotten along with before!

I'm happy to pet sit for you in your home, have your dogs board at my home, take your dogs for walks or do daycare in my home with my dogs. Our yard is fully fenced with fences that are roughly 2m high all around. We have heaps of space and a big couch for cuddles too! My dogs are very friendly and are used to having doggy guests stay in our home.

I also love photography and can get some beautiful complimentary shots of your pets for you while you're away. And of course I'll always send plenty of photo updates during my stay (including on my petsitting instagram where I post heaps and heaps of stories with videos of photos of your dog) so that you never have to worry about your fur babies while you're away.
