I'm 20 year old pet and vet assistant student looking to gain more experience real world experience and have a positive impact.
Flexible schedule that is perfect to fill with enriching walks, home visits, sitting, and daycare. I have a safe, spacious, home with a big backyard with well cared for, shaded lawn for endless play and sniffing. Right down the street is a large park as well as a dedicated, enclosed dog play area, aswell as multiple other parks and footpaths nearby. I have previous experience caring for a variety of species through volunteering and student work, and have strong knowledge of pet care requirements, animal behaviours/temperments, and proper handling techniques. I'm fit, passionate, and reliable with excellent interpersonal skills, and am ready to go above and beyond. I study from home and casually work as a waitress 3 nights a week, which I can easily integrate into any schedule. I have 2 vaccinated indoor cats that can be kept completely seperate during daycare and home sitting. I grew up with 2 dogs (spoodle & shih tzu) whom I visit regularly, and owned and cared for 2 bonded guinea pigs for 6 years, as well as experience caring for budgies and native bird species.
