About Emerald

As a big animal lover I’m always happiest when caring for and in the company of all pets. Having a family of 2 dogs (of mixed age and size) and 2 cats. Since I was a child, I always feel at home when surrounded by and caring for animals. I often look after, pet sit, walk and spend time with many pets for my close friends and family while they are on vacation or busy due to work, with over 17 years of experience I never find any challenge too big! I am currently pregnant and on maternity leave from work so with some spare time now on my hands until baby gets here, I decided to fill some of my days looking after some wonderful animals.

I love taking my own dogs out for long multiple walks a day and on as many adventures as I can. I also love spending time cuddled on the lounge or bed having a lazy day with all my dogs and cats as well. My dogs are very friendly, my Golden retriever (Gus) especially being the youngest of the group, loves new friends to play with and is full of energy.

I have no preference for looking after any specific animals as I love them all however am more used to dogs and cats. Having walked all my dogs off lead, doing amateur training with them regularly, I am very comfortable looking after a few dogs at a time on walks and teaching them some basic skills if wanted. I am very aware all animals are different so I will be respectful of all personality types and can cater to all needs happily.

Living close to Albert park, port Melbourne beach and Fawkner park, I am in a great location to take dogs on a variety of walks and also have access to my own car so I am able to go even Further and pick up animals easily. My animals are family and your animals would also be treated in the same way while I have the pleasure of looking after them! ...
