I’ve lived with animals all my life and have experience with puppies and dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish! I am a fully qualified veterinary nurse, with over 9 years’ experience in the field and have a lot of knowledge on animal health, training, nutrition and mental stimulation.
I currently have two dogs, a cairn terrier x (Gizmo) and a cavoodle (Charlie). Gizmo is 10, sleeps most of the day and doesn't care about other animals at all - she keeps to herself. Charlie is a puppy at heart and will play all day if she has someone to run around with. I also have 2 cats (Blackberry and Honey), a rainbow lorikeet and a full tank of fish. My husband Martin works from home and between the two of us, there is almost always someone home to look after the animals or to help out with home visits, day care and house stays.
Pet day care involves mental stimulation as well as physical activities to leave your dog exhausted at the end of their day. Walks, outings at the park or beach, training exercises and puzzles and lots of one-on-one time and cuddles are included for hours of fun. Pet day care is more involved than a home visit and your dog won't just be sitting in the backyard.
I am reliable, caring and have the time to spend with your fur baby, making them feel safe and loved while you are away. I am able to look after all breeds big and small, with home visits, pet sitting and home stays. Stays for 1-2 nights and less than a week welcome. For active dogs during pet sitting and hosting, please select the dog walking add on if your dog requires more than an hour walk per day.
Home visits are usually up to an hour per visit where I check on, feed, clean up after, walk and play with your pets. 1-2 visits per day are included in one session/booking. If you are away, I will visit your dog in the morning and evening (2 visits per day) or I will check on your dog for you while you're at work (1 longer visit per day).
I will also keep you up to date on how it is going, I love taking photos so you'll definitely send you photos of your fur babies.
I look forward to looking after your pets and spoiling them!
