About Jessica

While new addition to the MadPaws platform, I am not a novice at pet sitting and house minding.

My history with animals:
Animals have always been a part of my life. My childhood is filled with memories of our cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I love animals and the companionship they give!

Known to be more mature and responsible than most teenagers my age, it was a natural transition to start house and pet sitting around the neighborhood. I really enjoyed the responsibility of taking care of peoples pets and the pride I felt from knowing the owners trusted me to watch over their beloved pets. A responsibility I don't take lightly.

Why I pet and house sit:
Now in Sydney, due to housing arrangements I'm unable to have a pet myself but absolutely love that I am still able to get in those very much missed animal cuddles while helping you too.

What you get when you work with me:
Some pets may be a bit quirkier than others, or may need a little more time to adjust than some but for me that is no problem at all. I understand that I am a new human to them and am more than happy to let our relationship develop naturally on your pets terms. (No traumatized animals on my watch!) This is the main reason why I love house sitting in your home. The process of boarding your beloved pet in a kennel can really be more harmful than good for them. When I come to your home you have the peace of mind knowing they have all their comfort toys, favorite bed and most importantly in the safety of their home. I pride myself in maintaining your pets routine while you're away too.
Got a special hand fed diet? Love playing fetch for hours on end? Have a specific minimum amount of time they get walked for? All these and so much more are perfectly acceptable request when Im looking after your pets.
Do you like photo updates daily? Or just now and again to know all is good at home? Either way, I am happy to stay in as much or little contact as you want while on my watch.

My experience and love for pets shines through. All the reviews I've received have been positive, all would recommend me and a few have I've had the pleasure to pet sit for them multiple times!
