About Jess

After 8+ years of working in the dog industry in addition to a few more years prior to that looking after furbabies, it has been confirmed that the more dogs in my life, the better life is.

I have spent my entire life surrounded by dogs but in my professional career I have managed doggy day-cares, grooming salons, and pet retail stores.

I have experience with dogs of all sizes (tea-cup Chihuahuas to 60 kilo Great Danes), all temperaments (the rescues I have helped have required a lot of training and patience), and all types of energy levels so am well-equipped to help you with whatever you may require. I also have a vast knowledge of dog behaviour and training so am able to offer assistance in this area, as well as advice for grooming and nutrition.

Training is the main passion of mine and something that I continue to educate myself on daily, as I believe you should never stop learning. I have helped countless dogs over the years and rehabilitated rescues and foster dogs, and there is truly nothing that gives me more happiness than seeing a dog learn and adapt and live it's life the way it should be lived - happy and carefree. My training methods are positive reinforcement based and are proven to work with consistency and time.

Your dog will always receive lots of love and pats when they are with me on our fun and safe outdoor adventures. I understand what it's like to be a dog-parent and know that each dog is unique, so please know that your dogs needs, however special or different they are, will always be my priority. A happy dog is a good dog!
