At Dachshunds on Mermaid we understand how looking after these Dachies are one of a kind.

We also understand that leaving your furbaby can be an anxious experience. We ensure you that your fur baby is very loved and cared for by providing them with activities they wouldn’t get anywhere else.

Here are just a few examples your furbaby will experience at Dachshund on Mermaid:

PRIVATE TOUR ON ARRIVAL:

1st: Your Furbaby will be taken through the house to get comfortable in the new second home.

Your furbaby will be shown where the SASH bed, water bowl and treat cupboard is.

2nd: Your furbaby will have access to the the secure balcony at all times. This is where they get to lye in the sun while admiring the water view and working on their tan.

3rd: UNLIMITED CUDDLES

As soon as your FurBaby has settled into Dachshunds on Mermaid and received their private tour they will then get an unlimited amount of cuddles from their carer if they chose. I work from home so I am always here, to cuddle your furbaby and will give them the love and affection they want.

My Dachshund Peppa is also affectionate and will be there to cuddle and give kisses to your fur baby whenever it wants. Peppa meets your furbaby once they have settled in.

WALKIES:

1-2 walks a day around The Lanes Blvd, Mermaid Waters. Let your fur babies paws melt into Mermaid Waters finest grass. Length time of the walkies is determined by each Fur baby (please let the carer know upon booking of walkies time preference)

PHOTOSHOOT:

Unlimited pictures will be taken of your FurBabies Fur-Cation and sent to you so you can see what they have been up to.

PLAY TIME

Peppa’s favourite game is Chase. If your furbaby is up for it Peppa loves to play Chase. We also have a list of games we play but we understand that your fur baby might have a favourite game. Please let your carer know upon booking what your fur babies favourite game is and we will ensure you they will get to play the game.

NAP TIME IN A SASH BED

Most times our fur baby anxiety is related to separation from you. The easiest way to calm our furbaby is to simulate it feeling hugged, warm and safe - the same way it feels when it’s with you!

SASH beds are a dog bed designed with the softest materials, enveloping plush walls to help your dog feel safe and snug - just like a baby being swaddled! Napping in a SASH bed will ensure that you Fur Baby is well rested on its fur-cation

IMPORTANT NOTE: We do accept other small doggies, not just dachshunds as long as your doggie loves to be around dachshunds.
