I have done much pet sitting....When I am, I often think to myself that I am the best pet sitter on earth!
I understand that they may have some anxiety at first and if they do droppings in the house they never get in trouble, on the odd occasion in the past, I blamed my self for not taking them out in time.
When looking after Dauchhunds for example... I sleep on a low futon so they could climb on easily without hurting their backs.
I like them to feel like they are also on a luxury holiday. This is an apartment however and I do have two balconies and its cool and breezy.....I have a real grass dog toilet but no back yard.
I can take one small dog at a time at my house day or stay over. I decided I do not want un-toilet trained dogs anymore, I have some expensive rugs and new flooring in the bedrooms and I dont want them spoilt... :-)
They are provided with fresh filtered drinking water. I can feed them our natural raw diet that my dog gets but if your dog is used to living on kibble or so it might be best they stay on that, so as not to upset their stomachs. :-)
I am also available to visit dogs, cats and other animals. Several visits per day, spending time with them, walking, cuddles, feeding, any medication they have to take etc
