About Lauryn

Ever since I could remember, I have had a huge passion for animals. I have owned 5 rabbits, 3 guinea pigs, a cat and many fish as well as taking responsibility in looking after my neighbours dog when they go away on holidays. To help with my understanding and knowledge of animals I completed my Certificate II in animal studies at Taronga Zoo which included both onsite practical task and theoretical component.

I have worked at a pet resort for 1 year now as a kennel attendant. My responsibilities include, feeding, medicating, matching dogs with similar personalities/age/behaviour, taking out multiple dogs for day care in the pool and grassy yard. This job has allowed me to gain a lot of hands on experience in caring and looking after dogs. I also have experience with other pets as we also care for other fury friends including cats and rabbits. I feel I have plenty of knowledge and experience to now branch off and utilise my own skills to look after your fury loved ones

Not only do I have experience in looking after pets, but I have volunteered at multiple zoos including Sydney taronga zoo, australia zoo in queensland and the Australian reptile park.
