Hi! My name is Maria aka the biggest dog lover you could potentially find on this planet 😊 Growing up with dogs, they have been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I've got my own dog Lexi, she's a border collie mixed breed and a rescue pup. I got Lexi when she was around 9 months from the RSPCA, and she had had no training before she came to me. She's been quite a challenge, which is an understatement, and I have had to spend a tremendous amount of time training her and giving her the chance of becoming her best self. 

Lexi has come such a long way, she's more confident than ever, she's obedient (still has her moments) and she's the funniest most loveable dog and she makes me laugh every single day with her personality! She's hard not to love! 🥰

I have the experience with both small as well as large breeds, rescue dogs (I have had two) and have been a volunteer at the RSPCA, having undertaken professional dog training with Lexi and reaching Level 2 with her - I am a confident dog person who absolute adores surrounding myself with dogs, and dogs tends to love me back as well 😊

My passion for dogs, especially rescue dogs, and my experience with Lexi - led me to building a website about rescue dogs where I share my own experiences and the knowledge that I've gained, and what it can be like to rescue a shelter dog. 

All dogs deserves a second chance at life, a second chance at finding a new loving home that will give them a chance at life again. And that requires good loving humans who are willing to put the time and effort into their pups and give them what they individually need to become their best selves ❤ 

Dogs loves their humans unconditionally, and they deserve the same thing back - every single day!
