Avid animal lover. My early years were spent living on a hobby farm, my first birthday present was a Min Pin; as a child we always had family pets. I grew up with my own cats, dogs, ponies and horses, as well as our chooks, cows and other wildlife along the way.
I bought my first German Pinscher in my 20’s and have been been fortunate to have had five. My current boy, Jagger (“Jag”) is an Australian Champion. He is a wonderful companion and adores other dogs. Whether your pet(s) comes to stay with us or we come to you, Jag is by my side. If you’re concerned about Jag getting on with your pet(s), please discuss this with me so we can seek a resolution.
I’m presently studying the National Dog Trainers Federation (“NDTF”) Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training. Ultimately, my dream is to help others in need by training Assistance Dogs for people with mental health issues and/or disabilities.
My home is cozy and humble. It is safe and secure with high fences and locked gates. I take great pride in keeping my home a warm and welcoming place. Home inspections are welcome if your pet(s) will be staying; after a ‘meet and greet’ confirming that I am a perfect match to provide adequate care for your pet(s).
Pet safety is paramount. I kindly ask that your pet(s) be up-to-date with all current vaccinations, flea and worming treatments. Proof of this is mandatory for my services and I am happy to provide you with my pet’s current certifications.
I have a daughter with whom I have shared custody. I’ve listed my services without my daughter present, however, if you require a longer time period of care, my daughter may be with me. My darling girl has a beautiful affinity with animals and am proud of her natural ability to understand and care for animals with empathy. My daughter enjoys being a Junior Handler, competes at dog shows and does exceptionally well in national competition each year. If you have any concerns or wish to discuss my daughter’s involvement during longer term care arrangements, please advise.
I have a current Working with Children Check and volunteer at my daughter’s School.
During your absence, I provide daily updates (including photos) of your fur-babies and go the extra mile to ensure your pet(s) feel loved and cared for as if they were my own.
Please note, dates noted as unavailable on my calendar in the coming weeks are nights that I am scheduled to be spending with my daughter. I am still able to care for your pet, however, I will not be able to stay in your home....
