About Kara
My name is Kara and I am a fit, active, and healthy Canadian professional who moved to Queensland recently with my partner, Bodhin, to start a Masters in Marine Science. I have always worked and cared for animals - from managing a large equestrian centre (50+ horses) throughout high school, to training and caring for a diverse range of animals at the Vancouver Aquarium. Non professionally, I've always kept pets (e.g. reptiles, amphibians, fishes, spiders, horses, cats, dogs, guinea pits) and I've pet sat for many in my network. Since moving to Australia, I've provided petsitting services on platforms including Aussie Housesitters and Trusted Housesitters. Throughout my post-secondary education and career, I've received training to understand animal behavior well and I am constantly applying my knowledge to my training services with diligence and consistency. Overall, I truly enjoy the opportunity to work with animals and I am happy to lend my expertise.

These may increase overtime to adequately compensate for the time spent providing high quality care, enrichment, and training. A full refund will be offered to Pet Owners if they cancel up until 7 days before the booking at 12 noon. After which Pet Owners will be charged 50% of the total booking value.

Wonderful couple. Came home to very happy pets and a clean home. We have an active Alaskan malamute who loves and needs lots of attention. Would highly recommend for house sitting and pet sitting. So nice to have peace of mind when away.

We had Kara and Bodhin house and pet sit for 2 weeks while we were on holiday.
During that time we knew that our fur babies were completely loved and cared for as we received regular messages and pictures to us with updates which I really appreciated. The house was in perfect conditional on our return also. We had no issues or concerns at all.
We would have Kara and Bodhin back to house and pet sit every-time we needed if possible.
