Experience:
I was that little girl that when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said a Vet. Now here I am, with my Certificate III in animal Studies and about to begin my Certificate IV in Vet Nursing. I have been looking after animals ever since I got my first cat at the age of 9, I've been a volunteer with the Animal Welfare League of Queensland (looking after dogs, cats, doing Events and also fostering unwell kittens) and have been regularly dog & cat sitting for neighbours, friends and anyone else who hears about me for about 5 years.
My services:
Included in my services is lots and lots of cuddles, love for your pet as if they were my own while you aren't there, feeding, walking & any other part of their daily routine. I love looking after dogs especially (as I'm not allowed any at my own house) so am constantly spending time playing with them. There was one time where I was staying at someone's house, looking after their dog and came downstairs at 1am to get a glass of water. Of course, the beautiful pup I was looking after thought it was play time. So we played at 1am for about an hour until she wore herself out!
Restrictions:
I have no issues with age - I've taken care of animals from 2 days old all the way up to 17 years, and I am comfortable with any size dogs unless they are extra large and pull on the lead.
Working/Being away from your pet:
I'm not working, I'm studying online however so will likely bring my books and read facts about animals to your furbaby! I'm someone who will be spending as much time as I can with your pet (if I have to go out it's only a couple hours at most and is generally a rare thing when I'm pet sitting). Otherwise I'm perfectly happy reading a book or watching a movie curled up with your furry friend! ...
