Hello! My name is Rheanon, and I am a part time humanitarian student and work full time for a non for profit in Leichhardt. I work from home 2 days a week and in office 3 days.
I grew up in a large family who was not shy when it came to fostering or adopting pets, so being surrounded by fury family members is completely natural for me. Over the course of my childhood and young adulthood, we adopted six dogs, four parrots, two cats, two rabbits, two guinea pigs, one chicken and one duck!
I am a quiet, reliable house guest who thrives in a clean environment and non-human company. You'll often find me hiking, surfing, bouldering or with my nose shoved into a classic novel (Jane Austen is my favourite). I am very active, so dogs that require multiple walks a day are no problem for me.
I have years of experience with special needs dogs, and pets on medication. Three of the dogs I grew up with were special needs. For reference, one had cancer, and was also deaf and blind. One had severe anxiety including separation anxiety, especially during storms due to a previous abusive owner, and the other was extremely overweight and lived with a strict diet and exercise regime for 2 years.
I have a car and am always looking for an adventure, so distances are not necessarily an issue, especially with long-term stays. If you have a lot of pets, or some that are full on and you would prefer a couple, I have a partner willing to stay and assist upon request.
I love keeping all you pawrents updated on how your pet and I are getting along, if you can expect regular updates and photos!
I look forward to sitting for you and your beautiful fury family member! Please do not hesitate to reach out with further questions.
