In 2024 I am offering a long term house/ pet sitting service in exchange for accommodation.
Please note: I am currently only offering pet sitting for cats (in my own home). I offer heavily discounted rates for long term stays, please contact me for prices.
Hello,
My name's Danielle. I'm a passionate and caring animal lover and fully qualified senior veterinary nurse.
I completed my certificate 2 in Animal Studies at the RSPCA and my Certificate IV of Veterinary Nursing at Box Hill TAFE.
I currently volunteer doing basic wildlife rescue and transport with Wildlife Victoria and have spent several months in Nepal and Colombia working to help rescue, treat and rehabilitate the street dogs over there.
I foster dogs with Starting Over dog rescue, the Victorian bull terrier rescue and POTH (Pets of the homeless)
I worked at an 24hour emergency vet hospital for the first year of my career and am currently working at an amazing general practice clinic so if anything were to happen I can easily take your pet into work with me so we can monitor them and make sure everything is fine.
It's fair to say animals are my life and I'm looking to pet sit in between fostering so I always have an animal by my side.
I enjoy exercise and am more than happy to walk/ jog your dog 1-2 times per day.
I'm confident medicating and walking all dog and cat breeds and have a lot of experience walking dog reactive dogs and looking after scared and anxious cats.
Please note, I will never have more than one animal at my house at a time (unless they are from the same household) and I only support a positive reinforcement rewards system.
I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your fluffy companion’s 💜
