Hi! I’m Kat, a 34-year-old artist and volunteer wildlife rescuer, Ive lived on a hobby farm for 5 years. I’m passionate about animals and art, and I’d love to care for your pets while you're away. If you’re comfortable, I can even paint in your home, shed, or outdoors, but if not, I can easily work elsewhere with my iPad or sketchbook. I do markets on weekends during the spring/summer period. So will usually be out from 6/7am until 6/7pm for either or both days.

I have over 7 years of experience volunteering at a wildlife rescue, where I’ve cared for a wide range of wildlife animals. I’ve also looked after cats, dogs, fish, turtles, lizards, and small pets like guinea pigs, rabbits, and a variety of birds. I’ve also had the joy of caring for larger animals, including horses, alpacas, sheep, and even hand-raising lambs and crias (baby alpacas). My background includes basic first aid for animals, such as treating minor injuries or snake bites.

I take pride in following all instructions carefully, ensuring your pets are well looked after. I always make sure to know local vet details and your fire safety plan, especially in bushfire-prone areas. You’ll also receive regular photo updates, so you know your pets are happy and safe.

I’ve house-sat for stays ranging from 3 days to over 3 months and am happy to consider longer arrangements. I hold both a police check and a working-with-children check, with references available upon request. If you’re in a different state, I’d love to arrange a video call to meet you and your pets beforehand.

Looking forward to meeting you and your furmily!
