Farm girl gone coastal.

From May 2025 onwards, I am accepting bookings mainly in South Australia (will consider other areas)

I am a freelance author and can work from wherever there is half-decent internet—ideal for pet and housesitting work.

I'm home a lot. I walk daily and go out for coffee a few times a week, but I am mostly at home.

I know that pets often fret when their owners are away, and I ensure I am around the house much of the time to ease their anxiety. 

My party days are archived in the 80s and 90s. I'm 53, happily single, and not looking to mingle. I don't smoke, and I rarely drink. 

I lived in a house I owned in Melbourne for 20 years, so I know what it's like to be a homeowner. 

I also used Mad Paws to find dog sitters, so I am familiar with the anxiety of leaving your pets and property in the care of a stranger.

I've had pets all my life (I grew up on a farm in the Mallee in South Australia). I also like gardening and will happily chat with your plants and encourage them to grow (or at least not die).

I have cared for miniature poodles, dachshunds, beagles, kelpies, British bulldogs, pugs, Pomeranians, golden retrievers, Border Collies, Akita's, Great Danes, Nova Scotian Duck Tolling Retrievers, Yorkies, Westies, greyhounds, and rescue dogs. I have also cared for Russian Blues, Siamese, Rag Dolls and a big ginger moggie. 

I'm very tidy, a clean freak and a non-smoker. 

I like early mornings and early nights.
