About Melanie
Our gorgeous dog passed away recently, we have so much love to give to an animal but are not ready to get our own again yet. We would love to look after your fur baby as we would our own!!
As an engineer I have an eye for detail and pride myself on taking note of your pets particular needs as well as recognising when things just don't seem right. We are experienced pet owners, having had a wide variety of animals from the more common domestic pets, cats, dogs and bunnies to the more unusual, sheep, ducks, chickens, guinea foul, mice and guinea pigs.
Our pet sitting journey is about sharing our lives and our home with your best friends and giving you the peace of mind that they will have the best care while you're away. For that reason we only take care of one pet (or bonded pair) at a time so that we can provide them with the individual attention they need.
Our House: Secure double gated yard with security gate, sheltered verandah, grassed lawn.
What its like to stay with us: we only pet sit when not working so we are home most of the day, we like to include your pet in everything we do(if that suits them), we have two animal loving children who come to stay every second weekend (13 and 11 years), we have a farm that we visit on some weekends (if that doesn't suit your pet we won't go, but is a great place to run around if suitable), live close to two fenced dog parks and many other parks, we walk down to the Vic Park cafe strip often. We consider your fur baby part of our family.

A full refund will be offered to Pet Owners if they cancel up until 7 days before the booking at 12 noon. After which Pet Owners will be charged 50% of the total booking value.

Our dog has never looked so sad saying goodbye to her new friend Mel!! We were pretty apprehensive about leaving her but couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Mel was lovely. She gave us so many updates and photos which was such a comfort. Olive looked to be having the time of her life in all the photos. We are so grateful to Mel and wouldn’t hesitate to have olive stay with her again.

Also our dropping off and picking up time were so flexible that was another relieve for us.
