I am a former dog breeder who had his own kennels and dog walking agency in the UK, with the addition of a unique Pet Poetry Service. Though mainly dogs, over the years we looked after, cats, turtles, several types of birds and mammals. Having recently moved to Wallan to be in the country, with two cats of my own, namely Einstein and Flix, I came across by chance Mad Paws, when I was looking for opportunities for things to do, relating to wildlife and nature to write poetry about them. This would be alongside my writing and consultancy work and I couldn't think of a better more apt way than Mad Paws. Friends several times a year use me to house sit for them, knowing their loving pets will be safe and cared for while they were away, and for when they returned the response was often, "It's as if we never left."  A good indication of trust and care for owner and their loving companion. The results of which however, inspired me set up www.petpoetry.com.au with the logo, 'For gifts that are thoughtful.' This will be an ideal additional service to those who love their faithful companions, as pet is just too small a word.
