From a young age I have been brought up in a home full of pets. With cats, dogs, birds and fish. I currently own a beautiful doberman cross and two very cheeky cats. One very old and one young boy. My family taught me to value animals as they are not objects they are companions. All of our pets have been rescue animals. My gorgeous family dog Zeus was rescued from the house behind our own. The owners were always at work and left him - a very big dog with lots of energy - in a small backyard with very little stimulation. The latest member of the family - our tabby named Spider - was an orphaned kitten found by the side of his dead mother on the road. His mother was a feral cat so he's quite boisterous.
My family has always owned big dogs so I'm very used to their size and energy. I understand that as a pet sitter it is important to cater to each individual animal. They all have their own personalities! I was always interested in becoming a zoologist and therefore studied biology at a university entry level. I am currently a student at WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts) studying part time so I have plenty of free time to spend with any fur babies! My family all take part in caring for my own animals so I am able to dedicate myself to making sure any pets feel cared for while their owners are away!
