About Anne-Maree
My husband and I are both animal lovers and take our role as animal owners and carers seriously. We provide daily walks with lots of love, conversations, praise and cuddles for all. Everyone including visitors are treated like valued members of the family with many creature comforts to make them feel safe, loved and special - which are so important when separated from their loved ones and familiar soundings.

I'm a sustainability advisor and educator who works from home, so it's easy to care for little fury friends when they need a home away from home. We live on 22 acres in Warrandyte, surrounded by spectacular wildlife. Horses are adjusted on the property, with cows and goats on adjoining properties - so it's a magnificent rural setting not far from the river, but in the heart of the eastern suburbs.

Our beloved Tucker dog (a gorgeous black and white spoodle) loves visitors and is a most generous host, sharing his toys, his bed and time with his mum to make everyone feel welcome.

Over the years when I travelled and lived a busy corporate life style and could not own my own pets, I regularly cared for other people's animals as it was a great way to rejuvenate as nothing gives me more joy than being with animals.

Our visitors are given the run of the house. They have a large selection of toys, and can sleep whereever they please - but are usually most comfortable sleeping at my feet during the day, cuddled on my lap or beside me on the lounge in the evenings and either on or beside our bed at night.

Over the years we've owned german shepherds, cocker spaniels and a variety of mixed breeds. We regularly care for spoodles Coco and Watson, Macy a schnoodle, Buddy - a very chubby jack russell and Oscar who's a Maltese cross. But over the years I've personally cared for a wide variety of breeds from cattle dogs to groodles. Mostly it's for a week or two, but I have been known to care for pets for people going over seas. The longest was about 6 months.

Many years ago as a dental nurse I had the good fortune of being a dental nurse for several VIP canines who needed root canals and crowns which is probably why I'm comfortable cleaning teeth for those that need it daily and giving medications.

I love getting out to enjoy either short strolls in the garden, or long walks either in the local park, down the river or through our beautiful rural suburb.

We aim to make your pets stay with us, as special and as comfortable as it can be. Our references tell it all...
