I would love to hear from you about sitting for your pets. I absolutely all fur babies and I think with my educational back ground in animal and veterinary science there is a lot to gain on both ends through these arrangements. I would love to gain experience handling a range of animals before I go out into the field, while also relieving some of the stressors pet owners often experience.
I know how hard it can be leaving your pets in the hands of others, so I also bring forward a compassionate desire to bring joy to the lives of your cuddly ones.
Also love exotics such as rats and mice so feel free to reach out if you need some sitting for the little guys too!
I travel to Wagga for uni from Ballarat Victoria, so often in the holiday periods I return home to visit friends and family and will unfortunately be unavailable around Christmas time just as an early heads up. However, I have plenty of availability throughout the year and look forward to engaging with some cuddle buddies.
Leaving Victoria also means leaving my own babies behind. I have a 9 year old Border Collie and an 11 year old cat which both feature in my photo gallery. I choose to leave them at home as they have property available to them and I know they enjoy the country life. As hard as it is I know it's best for them! Pet sitting allows me the opportunity to continue to experience the passion of a pet owner without owning the pet. I think this is one of the greatest attractions of the job. Additionally, leaving my pets back home means I have no limitations to the pets I can sit for.
I hope to hear back from you guys and I hope to make worthwhile connections with both the owner and the pet!
