I am an animal lover, dogs and cats, throughout my life I have had pets, dogs and Siamese cats. A few years back, I have been helping GAP and other organisations to foster greyhounds, to assist with their programme for preparing them for adoption by families. I have cared for over 15 greyhounds, including some with GAP. I was doing this while working full-time. I tried from my NSW public service in September 2026, working as a team leader managing a large team of over 17 staff members and working with the public and service providers. My work experience and expertise in caring for animals will complement my pet-sitting services. I own a large house with a backyard in a quiet cul-de-sac, away from busy roads. A bush reserve and pleasant bushwalking tracks run behind my house. I am home full-time; pet sitting will give me great pleasure. I do not have my own pet. I cared for a grayhound until June with GAP. I am currently on holiday overseas and will return mid Dec 2026. I'm ready to start my pet sitting from 17 Dec 2026 during the Christmas holiday period. I have photos of pets I've fostered as evidence of my pet care experience and commitment. I am taking bookings from 17 Dec 2026. My home is two-storey, with a large downstairs space, pet beds, toys, and a large cage in the room next to my family room where dogs sometimes want to rest. A bed in the back garden for the dogs to play. No work commitment; full-time at home. Fully fenced yard with gates. Secure backyard; intercom system at the door for security; Ring system. I have also been assisting programs that assist street dogs in Sri Lanka. While supporting the foster program, I cared for the greyhounds, preparing food at home: a mix of cooked vegetables and fresh meat. I drive. Plenty of public parks are nearby. Safe and pleasant neighbourhood with many of their own pets. You can contact me on WhatsApp at +61 0401 136 190 or +94 77 117 9964 (Both on WhatsApp until 15 December 2026).
