About Karina

I am what you would call a ‘crazy cat lady’. Growing up I’ve had a range of pet animals including guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats and ferrets.
Currently I have a Shiba Inu who lives with my parents as he became blind in his old age and a cat I adopted two years ago named Spooky. In my house we have a cockatiel and soon I will be getting my own cockatiel to be his friend. Currently I’m studying Certificate III in Animal Studies and hoping to move on to a Vet Nurse course next year. I sometimes have to go away for work but my 10year old Siamese seal-point, Miffy gets very stressed and anxious in new places. So it was perfect that Karina could come stay with her and give her plenty of much needed cuddles as well as taking such good care of her and my house. Last time I even increased the difficulty of Miffy's care as she required a pill daily during that time, which I myself often struggle to get her to take however Karina took it all in her stride and I returned home to a happy healthy cat.
