I love dogs and whilst I have had my own dogs growing up I have delved into volunteering at Dog Refuge last year. I have learned some more about dogs and their different natures. Of course most of those dogs have been through some traumatic event in their life. Being given up for one! I have taken some time off from my usual work due to stress and am looking to spend some time with dogs. I do not have a dog of my own but will be getting one in the near future. At the moment I would like to hug and play as part of my therapy. I think dogs are wonderfully loving and can be therapeutic too as much as they need to be loved back in return. So I would be the best pet minder for your dog.
I live in Yokine, WA 6060. The Yokine reserve is nearby and I have quite a few toys accumulated from weekend fostering of dogs from the refuge. I will be focusing on games for dogs that mentally stimulate while also keeping them physically active. I think the best T-shirt says 'my personal trainer has four legs' so again as much as they need it, I need it too! Too bad we don't always have the time for them. Well this time I do have time, so I'm happy to help you out.
The pictures I have up are one of Oscar who came into the office with his owner but then she went out to get a coffee and he felt a little lost whilst she was away for a whole 10 minutes. That was when the photo was taken:)
Then there was Bacchi from dog refuge who spent a weekend away from the refuge and we had so much fun, playing games and then a visit to the beach. She was so exhausted and found a comfortable spot at my feet on the couch for a snooze. I had to take a picture of her then.
