Mad Paws is searching for a Growth Marketing Manager to scale our performance channels and drive customer acquisition. The right candidate will report directly to the Head of Marketing, and liaise with various teams to meet acquisition targets. As this is a newly created position, the right candidate will have the track record needed to define this role.

  • Position: Growth Marketing Manager
  • Reports to: Head of Marketing

Key Responsibilities

  • Define & execute performance/PPC campaigns across social media & display channels
  • Shape customer acquisition & retention strategies
  • Grow our active users from paid channels and up-sell/cross-sell them across all Mad Paws business models
  • Own data analysis, hypothesis outcomes, optimisation strategies, & roadmap projects for paid social media & customer acquisition channels
  • Own & develop a testing framework for customer acquisition channels
  • Create & communicate weekly reports on customer acquisition channel performance
  • Work with Design, Product, & Technology teams to cross-functionally achieve company objectives
  • Ongoing involvement with other Marketing & Growth activities

Your Experience and Skills 

  • A proven track record in performance marketing & growth hacking
  • “Resourcefulness” may not be your legal middle name, but it might as well be. When a challenge presents itself, you always find a way to overcome it. When deadlines loom, you don’t run and hide. You crack your knuckles and say: “bring it.” 
  • You relish the pace of an agile, ever-changing environment, and thrive in both autonomous and cross-functional situations
  • Hands-on experience in digital marketing with demonstrated achievements in Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Youtube/Trueview campaigns
  • A thorough grasp of ad formats, segmentation, lookalike audiences, tracking, multi-touch attribution, and growing trends in paid media
  • Top-notch data analysis skills. You’re at home in GA and other analytics tools, and you know how to question  the data
  • An ability to translate data into relevant insights. When you share the data with the rest of the Team, you don’t only provide the numbers – you share conclusions that everyone will understand
  • Fluency in all digital marketing metrics including but not limited to CPC, CPL, CAC, CPM, LTV, ROAS, ROI, I2C, etc
  • A minimum of 5+ years experience managing customer acquisition & paid social media campaigns. Experience in a startup environment is preferred, but not essential
