Hi, my name is Chuen Man, a social worker who is seeking a career change to work for animals.
I offer a range of services including pet sitting, dog walking, and house visiting in order to keep your pets healthy and accompanied when you are away. Basic grooming and medicines administration could be done if required.
I owned two dogs (mini Schnauzer) before and looked after them in every aspects by myself. I have been doing pet sitting through my own networks. During the time I spent with those lovely furry friends, I photographed them in home environment. The owners loved the photos. So bear in mind if you are thinking to have some awesome photos of your pets.
I have been volunteering with different animal organisations worldwide including RSPCA Qld, AWL Qld, Hong Kong Dog Rescue, Dogs Mountain (the Philippines), and Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand. My role as a photographer for dogs and cats adoption purpose with RSPCA Qld since 2014 has enhanced my knowledge and skills in handling dogs of varied breeds.
Since 2015, I have been working for street dogs in Nepal and started my own project there which includes spaying, rescuing, and providing community education. Another note here is that my pet care services is a profit-for-animal endeavour. Part of the proceeds from providing pet care services will fund my works for street dogs in Nepal.
You can find out more about my street dogs project in Nepal in the Facebook Page ‘Wild Connections’ I created. On top of my passion about animals, I have been involved in relief and rebuilding projects for earthquake survivors in Nepal since April 2015, you can find out more information from the links below too.
