Dear Petsitters,
My name is Cheska, I’m 19 years old and a current Animal Science student at the University of Adelaide with the hopes of studying to become a Veterinarian in the near future. I have a wide-range of animal experience; from shadowing Zoo-Keepers and Veterinarians at the Adelaide Zoo and Fulham Gardens Veterinary Clinic respectively, to volunteering at the RSPCA, participating in weekly Animal Husbandry (and theory) classes through my degree as well as owning a few pets of my own (a rabbit, four chickens and two cats so far!). I am confident in administering medication and caring for animals as I have previously had to give eyedrops to my rabbit when he was still with us, regularly trim my two cats claws and again through my practical classes I take at University. I am a confident, motivated and quick learner if your animal has any special requirements. I have also attended a first aid course (and have my pet first aid certificate) through the Animal Welfare League, and hence feel competent in the right course of action to take should there be an emergency.
I am passionate about animals and being your pet minder for even just an hour or two could not only assist you but also allow me to spend time doing what I love.
Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you soon.
