I come from a family of animal lovers - I was brought up in a house that always had pets including cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, chinchillas and fish. My sister is now a vet nurse/puppy trainer in the UK! One of the earliest lessons I remember being taught by my parents was not to step on ants "because they have families too, and that ant could be another ant's aunt or uncle"! I've never forgotten that and it's meant I always treat animals as equals :)

I foster kittens for a Sydney-based foster agency whenever I am able to. It can be emotionally hard work seeing the condition some of them come into our care in, and then it's very hard to not fall in love with them when you're nursing them back to health! We would end up adopting all of them if we could!

I regularly look after a special needs cat with diabetes and other health issues so I am confident in administering injections and pills as required.

I own two gorgeous cats (both foster fails) who are truly a part of our family. I was brought up to treat animals as I would want to be treated myself. They trust us to look after them, and so we should.

On average, but negotiable:

Home visits are for up to 30 mins to play, fuss, feed and change water and litter. Dog walks are for around 30-45 mins as required. I work from home twice per week so can offer repeat weekly bookings on these days (fairly flexible on the days - can be discussed)....
