I am a French teacher in my late twenties. I live in Annandale with my boyfriend Julian (also a French teacher) in a lovely townhouse close to Jubilee park (perfect for walks).
We've both had animals all our lives: dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, tortoises... and I even wondered about one day making a career in this field, as I love animals so much. In the end I decided to work with humans (although sometimes I think I would have been better off teaching animals lol).
Our expatriate situation makes it difficult to adopt a pet as we may have to leave Australia in the next few years. However, looking after furry friends is something we really miss. Working as petsitters is an alternative that would help us give all the love we'd like to offer to the animals in Sydney.
Julian works office hours during the week, so he'll only be able to look after the animals in the evenings if they stay at home. Otherwise, I only work a few hours a week and see it as an occupation during the day when I have free time.
I can offer you walks in your neighbourhood, daily visits to feed your pet or (depending on your pet's character) look after it from my home.
I am available for a meeting and would be delighted to look after your furry child.
Notice : I do pet hosting only for cats and small dogs (in agreement with my landlord)...
