I hope I can be your second favourite person and that my home is a safe and happy place for your furry child. I am very loving, patient.
My experience:
I have been a temporary home for more than 10 years for dogs and cats that are recovering from surgery or undergoing ethological treatment, member of 2 animal foundations
I have taken care of dogs and cats from birth to 17 years old. Including rescued dogs with trauma, behavioural problems, need special care including dogs and cats with total paralysis.
What I offer
• Hikes
I never have more than 2 dogs in my care. This means your dog won't feel overwhelmed by too much company and I'll be able to provide plenty of individual attention.
• Pet accommodation, is available for dogs, cats, rabbit’s/guinea pigs. I only take in one pet at a time (or multiple pets from the same family) to ensure pets don't have the added stress of living with unfamiliar animals.
• Basic grooming (e.g., brushing, cleaning muddy paws)
• A bath (BYO shampoo and conditioner) at additional cost
• Basic training (e.g. sit/stay before eating)
• A minimum of 2 daily walks (for dogs). If your dog has other requirements, this could be arranged.
• Feed and walk according to instructions.
• Meet any medical, hygiene or behavioural needs your little one may have, including medications.
• I will be happy to provide you with daily updates with pictures to give you peace of mind during your absence.
What to bring
• Your usual diet and any medication you are taking.
• Clean litter box and clean litter (for cats).
• Your pet's blanket and/or bed.
• One of his favourite toys.
• Leash and collar (for dogs).
Visiting:
This includes feeding, water/litter change, hugs/play time, and walking.
I am available for visits twice a day, in the afternoon and evening or as needed; I can also offer light cleaning starting at $50.
Important: I only take sterilized, fully vaccinated dogs with strict flea and worm treatment.
