About Rod
I am a middle-aged, mature guy who absolutely loves animals. So much so that I choose to live a plant-based lifestyle.
I have over 20 years of experience with my own pets, as well as family pets, mainly cats and dogs, large and small.
I myself have had two Cocker Spaniels. Paddy crossed the Rainbow Bridge about 8 years ago, and I lost Ashbee in November last year (2022) just shy of her 16th birthday.
I'm definitely missing the companionship and unconditional love that pets provide us. To that end, you can be assured that I'll treat your pet as though they are my own, providing them with all the requisite love and attention they deserve.
I'm currently not working so my schedule is very flexible.

Rod pet sat my golden retriever, River, for 3 nights whilst I was interstate. Rod’s friendly and polite demeanour immediately put myself and my dog at ease. His space is tidy, central and secure. I received regular updates from Rod, including pictures, whilst I was away. I came home to a happy and healthy dog. I would rebook with Rod and highly recommend him as a sitter.
