About An
Reliable, experienced pet sitter in a safe, low-distraction home that welcomes furry friends of all ages and sizes. I'm available for overnight hosting, walking and pet sitting while you're away or keeping them company when you're busy. I like to give pets a home-y feel during their stay.
I live in a tranquil house in the leafy suburb of Beecroft with my partner, and your dog will have access to plenty of walking options available as I live next to the local park and quiet tree-lined suburban streets. When I am not caring for and doting on pets, you can find me working part-time from my home office, enjoying a bushwalk or coastal hike and playing tennis.
Your pet will receive plenty of attention, interactive playtime, mental stimulation, lots of love and cuddles during their stay. I send daily updates and photos throughout the day to bring you into the loop. We have wood flooring in our home so your pet will stay cool indoors when they return from their walks. If your pup is currently being crate-trained at home, I can continue to maintain crate training for bedtimes. Alternatively, if they are more comfortable sleeping by a person at night, I am also happy to oblige!
Dogs in my care are treated with an array of treats to reward good behaviour (sitting before crossing thresholds, sitting before meals, laying down when encountering strangers on the sidewalk or simply being good boys and girls). On overnight stays, your pets can expect to enjoy a 20 minute walk or jog every 2-3 hours (or more frequent for puppies, dogs in house-training, smaller dog breeds and more active working breeds) to ensure mental stimulation and regular light exercise (and no potty accidents inside!). I generally gauge their energy levels and tailor walking schedules to each dog, but please advise me if your dog has a particular schedule that I would be able to maintain during their stay.
I try my absolute best to accommodate for any special requests you may have for your pets. I keep an array of food and treat options available, including enrichment toys and lick mats, but please advise me of your pet's usual feeding routines/preferred meals to ensure a comfortable stay for your pet. Please bring along you collar/harness and lead/leash, favourite food and toy for maximum comfort.
Please note that your pet will have free roam of my home if house trained and will only be in the play pen when I am momentarily unavailable to supervise them (bathroom, taking a call etc).
Please ensure that your pets are up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatments to ensure their and other pets' health.
I offer flexible drop off and pick up times to best suit your needs, and can also assist in delivering your pet home if preferred.
