About Melarie

Hi there! My name is Melarie. I am a fur-mom and a massive, massive dog lover! It is lovely to e-meet you =)

I have been a fur-Mom for about 21 years - nearly 18 years to my first furbaby, Coco, and now, 3 plus years to my rescue furbabies, Gizmo and Puffy. I am on Pet Cloud and have had the wonderful opportunity to take occasional care of a few other small dogs in the last few years.

I have experience dealing with puppies, older dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, anxiety, timidity, arthritis, cushings disease, deafness, blindness and who have mobility issues.

My family is currently a family of 4 - my husband, Gizmo, Puffy and I. We live in a townhouse in the lovely Box Hill North. We have a small, fully-fenced grass backyard, a larger fully-fenced grass front yard, a professionally installed doggy door leading to our backyard, and are approximately a 5-minute walk to a gorgeous leafy, shaded walking trail and to an extremely dog-friendly oval where all the local dogs congregate Monday to Sunday evenings. No room is off limits to my furbaby or your furbaby.

I am a white collar worker and my work is hybrid. I work from home 2 to 3 days a week.

I lead a pretty quiet and peaceful life. To be honest, my days typically revolve around my furbabies, their walk-times, meal-times and cuddle-times! My hobbies include spending time with my furbabies, (whether it be walking, going on sniff-a-thons, playing or napping with them, or cuddling and pampering them like there is no tomorrow), as well as organizing, cleaning (its therapeutic!), interior decor, shopping at Kmart, watching Netflix, gardening, building lego, spending time with family and friends and travelling (if you need any tips on where to travel with your dog in Melbourne, let me know!)

My husband and I are fully vaccinated. Gizmo and Puffy are fully vaccinated and are up-to-date with their flea and worming medications as well.
