Hi there! I really really love dogs, but for various reasons I can't adopt one full time right now. Still, I miss the canine company and while I've been borrowing friends' pooches for short stints here and there, I have plenty of couch space and devoted dog mum energy leftover – which brings me here!
I'd happily host your dog at my inner north Canberra townhouse, which has a small deck/courtyard and a doggy door, giving your pup continuous access to the outside and lots of cuddles and affection on the inside. I work part time so I would be able to provide lots of company, stimulation and exercise for your dog when I'm home - though at this stage I can't offer 24h company if that's what your dog needs.
I'm an experienced and responsible dogsitter. I’ve been a dog parent myself, have been dog sitting professionally for two years, and volunteered at animal shelters, so I'm comfortable with lots of different breeds, temperaments and care needs. I have a particular soft spot for staffies and bully breeds - the boofier the better! When I'm not on the internet offering to cuddle strangers' dogs, I'm your pretty typical Canberra policy analyst.
I know how tricky it can be to find a reliable and trustworthy dogsitter who will give your fur child the kind of care and attention you would. So please get in touch if I can be of service!
