We are a mother/daughter team who would love to give all the affection to your fur baby that we give to our fur baby. Five adults in the house means your pooch is going to receive lots of cuddles and care. We have a fully-fenced backyard for sniffing, hunts, chasey, games and fetch.
For doggie walks; does your fur-baby like his/her particular walk? We can do that. Is he/she older or do they have a disability? No problem. The length and pace of the walk can be adjusted and we can make sure we walk on a flat, smooth surface. If your pooch enjoys a car ride, we can travel further afield. We have some lovely walks and fully fenced ovals that we can visit. Doggie seat belts are always used and we never take your pooch off the leash, for safety's sake.
For walks and house visits, all dogs are welcome.
For hosting and doggie day-care we can take hypo-allergenic furbabies, i.e. all types of Oodles, including Poodles, Maltese, Shih Tzu, Bichon Frise, etc, as members of our household have allergies.
A Meet & Greet for that first booking is an absolute must for piece of mind. That way, we know the fur babies are going to get along and have fun together. We like to start with a walk that has small pauses for doggie encounters, so the two dogs are walking side by side for a while before they meet each other, nose to... Well, you get the idea. After this gentle introduction, last minute bookings are fine.
* Ps. Sorry, folks. Annie used to love it when very young dogs bounced and leapt on her and she would join in with gusto but our lovely girl is now suffering with arthritis and her hips and back can't handle all that bouncing, so we are going to have to say a reluctant 'no' to having bouncy, leaping dogs over for hosting and doggie daycare. Adult dogs and quieter dogs are most welcome. She loves having a doggie friend to hang out with, as do we.
Pps. We'd love to care for your bouncy puppy in your own home for house sitting, though, if that suits you. They're so much fun to be around. :)...
