Sounds good right?!? But who am I and what is it that makes me your first choice for your furchild?
Well lucky for you I have a few more fun facts up my sleeve that may help you get to know me a bit better:
+ I am an animal lover of all animals yes I am a dog AND a cat fan!
+ I am an experienced animal handler and carer, growing up in a family of vets and vet nurses surrounded by literally all creatures great and small, and put to work (when I was old enough obviously!!) In the vet clinic alongside my mum, aunty and uncle throught my school years. My skills include:
- Dog Walking and Adventures - on and off leash
- Dog Enrichment and Purposeful Play Activities - (walks and activities for mental and physical stimulation) tailored to specific breeds and personality type.
- Pet Sitting - in home and out (primarily dogs and cats)
- Basic Obedience and Training - utilising Positive Reinforcement frameworks
- Grooming
- House Visits
- Puppies and Kittens
- Medication Administration/Pet First Aid
- Pet Transport
- Did I mention cuddles?!- Animal cuddles (definitely my speciality!)
- My partner is convinced I'm the dog whisperer, I'm so sure, I'm no Ceasar Milan! ... BUT Dogs do 99.99% of the time form a strong bond with me VERY FAST! Does that make me a dog whisperer, nah ... But I am the person down on the ground at their level, I am the one that learns how to communicate with and understands what they are trying to tell us by taking the time to get to the dog and observe what it does and when it does it to connect the dots, I am the one that provides postive reinforcement over punishment whilst still providing boundaries and direction, and I am the one that is confident, compassionate, gentle, calm and their temporary safe place while they are away from home. In short I kinda might of learnt to speak dog!
+ I am an animal activist who has volunteered at Animal Shelters, but no where near as often as I would like
+ I am a devoted dog mum to my beloved fôur-legged child Summer (AKA Wiggle Bum, Summy, Bubba Lou, Sum Bum) who is a 12 year old Golden Retriever who has a heart of gold, a smile that will light up any room and will brighten anyone’s day! She is also a great best friend, teacher, confident, companion to me and host to our furry friends that come to stay

Want to know more? probably not but hey!
When I am not dedicating my time to caring for animals, I'm spending time with my partner and dog, I am also a pet photography enthusiast (my next side hustle), a try hard foodie, a bit of a coffee snob, a novice musician trying to learn to play the piano and guitar (more admiring the instruments than actually playing them!) and a beach lover.

Oh did I mention I love.dogs? I LOVE DOGS!!!
