Hi! My name is Ross, and I love all animals, big, small, exotic and strange.
Unfortunately for the critter lover in me, I am only available every night of the week (but all day for weekends), and I live in a house that I share with several other people with whom I have to consult on what time it is appropriate for a furry visitor. Due to these reasons, I am more suited for visiting your home, where less variables in your pet's day to day is less stressful for them.
My experience with having pets includes five years of taking care of guinea pigs, and almost a year now of living alongside, and assisting with taking care of, a dachshund. I've babysat birds, cats, dogs, and even a snake. I'm always ready to take on the care of any animal, no matter my experience.
I have a large, 3 acre yard on bushland, but it has no fence. In order to not disturb the beautiful wildlife that visits our property, your pal will only be taken outside at night if they can be leashed. In terms of other occupants, if your furry (or scaly) friend is uncomfortable with adult men, small children, guinea pigs, or a very shy dachshund, me coming over to your house may be the better option. It is also for these reasons that birds, unless supplied with a cage that they are comfortable staying in the entire time, may not be safest at my home, due to the open nature of the house.
If your pet is on the larger and boisterous side, I may not be the sitter for you as I am quite a small man. However, if your pet is cuddle-mad and loves physical attention, I might be just right.
My Calendar is only updated to the end of May.
My photo gallery is full of photos of my guinea pig, Freddie, and my dog, Beau, until i remember to take photos relevant to my house :)...
