Hey there! I’m April, a professional in Pet Care. I offer animal training, pet sitting, pet visits, dog walking and adventure days, and horse care.

Pet Care is my day-to-day focus and the business name is Pet Love Gold Coast. You can request our business website or check out our Instagram for added peace of mind. Fully insured and experienced.

We have two kids and can offer a loving, secure family home with large grassy backyard for your cuties, while you go do life. Pet Sitting includes daily walks, long nature hikes or beach walks and off lead time. I also include any training for negative behaviours as I see them e.g. lead pulling or fear, and only train with positive reinforcement.

I have a lifetime of experience with animals, training dogs and puppies, cats, horses, experience with reptiles, birds and small pets. You name it, I know it! I’m also a volunteer for Wildcare Australia and have experience with rescuing injured native Wildlife.

Located on the Gold Coast, and make weekly visits to Brisbane for dog training or adventure walks , or happy to travel south of the border if needed.

I’ll treat your pet like my own, loved and cared for at all times and love going on adventures like beach walks or hikes, so having more furry friends as a pack for these is amazing and keeps me fit.

In 2021 I received my certificate in Canine Behaviour, am fully insured and can help with with any issues you need to work on with your pup. These include basic puppy training which is important in the first 20 weeks of life to set them up for success, dog socialisation, lead behaviour, mild dog aggression or aggression with people, anxiety and other reactive behaviours. I thrive on helping pups gain confidence and harmony working with their humans so they can live a full, happy life.

Available for pet sitting during holidays and am happy to discuss any bookings. Just ask!
