About Jacinta

Hi, we are Jacinta and Chris and we love welcoming lots of different dogs and puppies to come and stay with us. We have a warm, clean and organised family home and your dog will be safe and loved here. If we don't have availability online, please ask if you need a booking and we will do our best to accommodate you, we try to make sure any dogs staying will be happy together.

Chris and I are experienced in owning dogs including training and health needs. You can be assured we will alert you to any health concerns and keep them in good condition. Yes, that is a picture of our home baked peanut butter dog biscuits made by our in house 7yo chef! Your pet will be very loved here and given lots of attention, cuddles and play, as well as general obedience training and routine. We have 5 children who are gentle and responsible. I previously worked from home but I am returning to the clinic 2-3 days a week (I am a Child Health Nurse) and Chris will be working from home with the dogs on those days.

We have a resident Belgian Shepherd 'Cardi' and two playful Jack Russells 'Bailey' and 'Jamie'. We have a long grass section in the backyard perfect for playing fetch and a fully fenced yard with double locked side gate, to keep them secure. Our yard is a typical suburban backyard, but we make the most of our space and theres plenty of room to run! We also have a quiet dog park about 100m walk from home, and often go for a walk around the block.

Please message with any questions about availability or care. We do take a few visiting dogs at a time in peak holidays or when stays overlap, so we just ask that your dog is social with other dogs and can mostly enjoy their time together. Small dogs will need to be okay with some larger friends. We can separate them if for some reason they need to be apart but its best when they all get to play together! Please let us know if you aren't sure what your dog will be like, or haven't socialised your dog recently. Dogs are welcome inside and sleep indoors at night. Just like people, some of the dogs become best friends.

Stays longer than 4 days have a 10% discount. Our fees have a commission paid to Mad Paws, so we only receive part of the listed amount through Mad Paws - please chat with us if you want to discuss costs.

At our home the dog's bedding is regularly washed, their toys are checked for damage, rotated and replaced, and the outside play area is cleaned and maintained daily. We also keep stocked a selection of different treats - please let us know if there is anything your dog cannot have....
