I am a student currently on exchange at the University of Melbourne. I originally hail from Scotland and will be living in Melbourne over the next year. So far I've managed to settle in well to the new culture, however I don't quite know how I'll cope when the temperature starts to hot up.
Coming on exchange meant leaving behind family and friends, aswell as my pet cat Shadow. Seeing him on Facetime isn't quite the same thing as patting and playing with him!
Whilst here I thought that getting involved with animals would be ideal as it would make my experience in Melbourne somewhat like home, aswell as allowing me to expand my horizons by exploring different parts of the city. Having the ability to do this in the company of four-legged friends is an added bonus.
I have a love of animals and will always do my best to make them my priority, with this involving spending considerable amounts of time with them, aswell as making sure they keep active and lead a healthy lifestyle. All of these factors are important in keeping a pet happy.
I feel that I would make a positive impact on your pet as I would work hard to ensure that they felt safe in my company, aswell as being able to learn all about their needs and requirements so I am fully prepared to provide a high quality service.
In my spare time, aside from studying towards my Bachelors degree in Pharmacology, I like to run and am part of the Melbourne University Athletics Club. In addition, I enjoy relaxing with some TV or by reading a book.
