As a mother of three boys, aged 17, 13 and 10, I am proud to say that we are all passionate about animals, including my husband. From a young age, my children have been exposed to the joys of pet ownership, growing up alongside our beloved family dog, Dixie, who lived to a remarkable 16 years old. We all love to play with them, walk them and feed them.
Our Current Furry Friends
in our household include two beloved pets: Ayla, our kelpie, and Bear, our cat. As animal lovers, we frequently care for our friends' pets as well. Currently, we are taking care of a Golden Retriever and a Kavoodle, who get along splendidly with Ayla. Bear, on the other hand, tends to keep a low profile when new animals arrive, despite her close bond with Ayla.
Unexpected Feathered Friends: Nim and Nigella
A couple of years ago, our household unexpectedly gained two new members: Nim, a stray mallard duck, and Nigella, an Indian ringneck. Despite their stray status, they both managed to find their way into our hearts and home and even though they are no longer with us, we loved our time as bird owners and enjoyed each one’s quirky personality.
A Happy Haven for Your Pet Friends
My spouse works from home and enjoys taking the dogs for a stroll during lunchtime. We have the perfect place for your pet friends. Close to our residence is a stunning park and a nature reserve. Our garden boasts a lush green lawn as well as a pool for those pups who love to swim. Sleeping arrangements: Pets are welcome to sleep on our covered deck, or in our informal lounge, where they are allowed on the old leather couch :)
Providing love and care for your beloved pet is our top priority, especially during times when they need it the most and when you are away....
