Hello!
My name is Finja ( pronounced Finya),
I moved from Germany to Australia about 6 years ago!
I grew up with dogs and horses - I am an absolute dog lover and obviously have enough experience in training and looking after dogs :)
I am currently working with racehorses but finish work at 9am every day (except for the odd day that I go to the races during the day) and normally spend the rest of the day with my dog, my horses and studying psychology.
If you chose to board your dog with me please mind that I might have to leave the house for a couple of hours occasionally (apart from going to work) - However, I will always make sure your dog gets enough exercise, attention and fed on time every day😊
I own a very friendly female staffy x that I rescued about 5 years ago - she’s a very happy dog that loves people, other dogs, horses and cats!
Nala is used to living with other dogs and having other dogs come over to our house.
I would love to help people out that have a busy lifestyle and might struggle a little to give their dogs the exercise they need!
I am happy to take your dog for a big walk (with or without my own dog) or we can hang out at my place (inside or outside) and have a good play session in the decent-sized backyard.
My dog is allowed on bed and couch and your dog is obviously welcome to join her there if you are happy with that :) (in case you do not want that I will obviously make sure not to teach her/him bad habits) :)
If you would like to board your dog with me:
-please provide his/her dog food
-food bowls and dog beds do not need to be provided unless you would like to
-please do not provide any toys as my own dog seems to love to destroy them😵💫 (I have tough toys they can play with)
-please mind that your dog needs to be okay with being unsupervised for a couple of hours occasionally (inside or outside)
- please let me know about any behavioural issues (such as separation anxiety, excessive barking, trying to run off, etc.)
-please let me know if your dog is allergic to something, has any medical issues or is not allowed to eat certain foods/treats
